I have had keratosis pilaris since junior high and never felt comfortable in my own skin. I used to try covering up my arms, but with sports and hot weather it was nearly impossible, so I just dealt with it. About a year ago is when I met a pharmacist who recommended AmLactin. Since then, I haven't used any other lotion on my arms. When I wear short sleeves, I'm no longer afraid of people looking at my arms. I am so grateful for this product because it has restored my confidence and made me feel comfortable in my own skin again.

It also works great for someone that has had alot of sun exposure. It helps restore the skins texture and prevent further damage by exfolliating but also helps restore the lipid barrier. The skin on my elbows and ankles was hard and crusty—nothing helped. My forearms were dry and it was discouraging. Things have changed. No hard crusty elbows and ankles and my forearms aren't dry anymore. This is an excellent product. I'm so glad I found it.
